A loving friend and family member, Misty sadly passed away this week; I'm still coming to terms with that, but I do know that those precious eighteen and a half years of knowing her will never be forgotten.

A very loving, moving tribute. I'm sorry for your loss. There is nothing like the unconditional love of an animal.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I can relate quite well, as my cat of 12 years passed away back at the end of August. It was a devastating loss for my Mother and I.

The pain will eventually ease, but you'll always miss her.

Misty looked very pretty. Thanks for sharing.

True words, and I'm sorry to hear about your cat, too :( I can't say I'm looking forward to the pain once the loss has finally sunk in, but we all are made richer by the animals we choose to share our lives with.

Thank you for the condolences. And your words are true as well. Our pets do become an important part of our life, and the love they happily share with us is a wonderful gift.

Try and have a good week ahead.

I'm sorry, too.. She's a beautiful cat and looks really intelligent! Cats can be awesome friends and companions.. :huggle:
18 years is a great age for a cat to reach..

Aw thanks, I can't believe she's gone :( I've always thought Misty's longevity was partly because she remained very active as she got older. She was only a small cat but extremely territorial and protective, even up to 14, before her arthritis set in we'd still occasionally see her chasing foxes out of the garden :D

It's awesome that she remained pretty active.. I have two cats and one of them is 12 years old, she is overweight, very grumpy and doesn't do much anymore, but I love her so much, I got her as a child and grew up with her... I can't stand the thought that she's growing old now.. :(
My other cat is really young and we have so much fun with him - it's stressful at times but he's such a lovely guy ^^
